All orders are packaged in an anti-tarnish bag which is good for two years of storage. Your jewelry, within the anti-tarnish bag, will be placed inside a Kraft gift box for rings with a fair trade, silk sari ribbon wrapped around it. Or for necklaces and earrings, in a linen drawstring bag. A Pro-Polish cleaning pad is included with each order along with care instructions and a description of your new jewelry (for items with stones). I wrap the order in tissue paper and will securely ship it to you in a box.
If you are ordering for a gift, don't worry! I never include pricing in the package. I ship as if the gift is being delivered to the recipient. If you need a note included, please mention it at check out.
Typical shipment occurs in 1-3 business days unless the item is labeled MTO (Made to Order). MTO items will take up to 2 weeks for production time plus shipping time. Shipping is through USPS. I ship with First Class Mail plus insurance within the United States. Priority Mail is now an option you can select but please be aware of production time limits.
If shipping is available outside the USA, it is up to you to decide if you want to insure the package. If you choose not to insure the package and it becomes lost in transit, it is at no fault of Silver Muse and the transaction cannot be refunded.
If you need rushed Priority shipping, please contact us before ordering so that you know how long production time will be.
Please be sure that the address you have in Paypal is the address where you want your package delivered. We only ship to the address provided through Paypal and cannot change the address. If you have submitted an order with an incorrect Paypal address, you can change the mailing address yourself through usps.com OR contact us immediately! If you do not change the address on your end, you may be subject to incur a 3% fee which is lost through Paypal.
If your order arrives damaged due to fault of the US Postal Service, or if your order is damaged based on our oversight, you must contact me about this damage within 24 hours of receiving it. Buyer's remorse is not covered. We try to provide sufficient images from many angles so you know what you're getting. If you need a different chain length, contact us and we will try to help you out. There may be a small shipping charge required to ship it back to you in this instance. Ring size adjustments are usually not possible so please make sure you know your size before ordering. Wide band rings will fit by adding 1/4 a size to your usual ring size. Or you can ask me, "What size does this ring fit like?" and I can give you the size of it as if it was a regular band ring.
Orders outside the USA: I cannot expedite mail for orders outside of the United States of America. The shipping costs are very high for expedited mail.
Shipping outside of the USA is currently taking anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months due to Covid.
Please be aware of your country's customs fees and requirements BEFORE purchasing so that we can have a smooth transaction.
Packages will have the value of the item on the shipping label. I cannot take the purchase price off of the label. I do not pay any customs fees and have no ability to do so for you. If your country notifies you that a customs fee is required for you to receive your package, it is your responsibility to pay it. Any orders that are returned to me because the customs fee was not paid will not receive a refund on the shipping price nor any fees charged by Paypal.
**If your item was customized for you, I cannot give you a refund on the product. I will hold your item for a reasonable amount of time as I see fit so that you can contact me about having it shipped to you again at your expense. If I do not receive any communication from you and I cannot get in contact with you, I reserve the right to do as I see fit with the product. International orders are 99% of the time a smooth process, but once in a while a glitch in the system will occur between two countries. After a package/parcel leaves my hands at the post office, I am not responsible for what happens to it. I always have tracking information on each package and will provide this to you so that we can both monitor its progress through the mail system.
